“Were those photos and videos saved on purpose, just to leak them online now?”
Charlotte had planned to wait until after the entrance exams to deal with everything.
But someone twisted the story, cut out the worst parts, and threw it all over the internet.

“Find out who posted the video,” she said quietly, gripping her phone, her expression cold and unreadable. “And bring that person to me.”
“Yes, Charlotte. I swear, I’ll bring them back,” Adonis promised, his anger barely contained.

Once they caught him, Adonis was going to make sure Jesse regretted everything. “Charlotte, I’ll call the research institute and have them bury the news, maybe even shut the whole system down-”
It was like this whole scandal had been set up ahead of time. The second those videos and photos hit the web, they exploded. Even deleting them would take a while.
“Don’t bother,” Charlotte said, her hand sliding into her pocket, her eyes icy and sharp. “Let it spread.”
She was the victim. The truth was out. The ones who should be scared were the people who tried to ruin her.
She’d wanted to stay under the radar, just live quietly with Anthony until after graduation, and then get her revenge. But if someone was in such a rush to destroy themselves…
Charlotte’s lashes trembled, her eyes going cold. “Then let’s destroy them first.” Her voice was flat, without a trace of warmth.
Adonis shivered when he heard her.

Kenneth’s voice shouted in the net

even. “Roger, Kenneth, just listen to me for a second.”
Kenneth went quiet, but he was still breathing hard, fighting to stay calm.
