Shirley had always thought Charlotte was the poor, forgotten girl from the Main family. Finding out she was actually the beloved princess of an ultra-wealthy clan was a total shock.
Trying to hide how giddy she felt, Shirley blinked at Charlotte, her cheeks turning rosy. “So, Charlotte, does this mean I’ll get to see my idol in person more often?”
“Hm?” Charlotte looked at her, lifting an eyebrow.
“You know,” Shirley said, her eyes shining with excitement, “like, actually see him without his shirt on?”
“Shirley, you’re pretty bold,” a voice cut in from behind.
Before Charlotte could answer, Andrew had come up and tapped Shirley on the back of her head. He gave her a sly look. “You like seeing guys with no shirts, huh?”
Shirley glanced at Andrew, her face blazing red, and stayed quiet.
“I’ve got a nice body, too,” Andrew went on, pushing her bangs out of her eyes. “Say a few nice things about me. If I’m happy, maybe I’ll show you.”
Shirley grumbled, cheeks still pink, “With that tiny amount of muscle? Please.” She grabbed Stella’s hand and hurried away.
“Tiny amount of muscle?” Andrew called after her, his pride clearly bruised. “Shirley! Say that again!”
Watching the two of them mess around, Charlotte squeezed Anthony’s hand and shot him a look.
Anthony took in the playful chaos, a knowing smile on his face. He leaned in close, his lips almost brushing her ear. “I have a pretty good body too. Want to see it again?”
Again?
Charlotte froze. The memory of what she had seen before flashed through her mind, and her cheeks grew even hotter.

In the private room, Charlotte was settled on the couch with Anthony right beside her, his arm comfortably around her waist. Everyone else was lounging nearby, the table crowded with half-finished drinks.
Andrew, being the youngest, had been stuck with pouring everyone’s drinks. When it was Charlotte’s turn, Anthony reached out, stopping him. “She’s not drinking.”
Without a word, Anthony grabbed the carton of milk and poured her a glass, then handed it to her.
“Anthony, you’re treating her like a kid,” Emily teased, sipping her wine. “Charlotte’s graduated. Let her have a little fun.”
“She’s allergic to alcohol.” The image of Charlotte’s last drunken escapade was still clear in Anthony’s mind. She’d been adorable, but she’d also caused absolute chaos.
He pushed a couple of snacks closer to her hand, then looked at Andrew. “Pour something non-alcoholic for the girls.”
Roger swirled the wine in his glass,

eyes landing on Anthony’s hand
at Charlotte’s waist. Jealousy
prickled under his skin. Charlottenet
might have promised not to show, off their relationship, but Anthony clearly didn’t care.
Maybe he’d miscalculated.
Roger stepped outside to take a call, coming back in just as Stella, who was sitting next to Charlotte, accepted a drink. She wore a crisp white blouse that made her skin look porcelain smooth, and as she nodded, she softly said, “Thank you. She looked so sweet and delicate, almost like a doll.

Stella must have felt it, because she
looked up and met his eyes. For a second, his stare held hers and the glass in her hand quivered ever so slightly. She quickly dropped her gaze, her fingers curling tightly around her drink.
