Chapter 571
Charlotte pressed her lips together, her eyes blinking softly. “I’m not worried about him getting beat up,” she said in a quiet voice.
“Then what are you worried about?” Kenneth asked, not letting it go.
Charlotte looked at him, completely serious. “I’m worried that you’ll lose and end up getting punched yourself.”
Kenneth scoffed, but his confidence was already slipping. “There’s no way I’d lose to him.”
Roger gave a small frown. “Lottie’s got a point.”
He knew Kenneth didn’t stand a chance against Anthony if things actually got physical. Kenneth didn’t reply. His face kept changing color, going from pale to flushed and back again.
The three of them headed downstairs together. Charlotte walked ahead, while Roger and Kenneth trailed behind. Kenneth grumbled under his breath the whole way down, coming up with at least a dozen different ways to get back at Anthony.
But when they reached the top of the spiral staircase and caught sight of the scene below, Kenneth stopped in his tracks.
“What is Anthony even doing?”
His voice made Roger and Charlotte look down too. The grand hall was buzzing. Dozens of staff were lined up, and under Hans’s direction, they were carrying one box after another inside.
“Is he coming over for dinner or moving in?” Charlotte murmured, her eyes narrowing as she watched Anthony.
Just then, a tall and striking figure stepped forward, catching everyone’s attention. Anthony was wearing a perfectly tailored black suit that fit him like it was made just for him. His short hair was neat, every line sharp, and his handsome features seemed even more defined. There was a slight, unreadable smile on his lips, and he carried himself with an undeniable presence.
He definitely came dressed to impress.
It wasn’t only the three of them upstairs who were caught off guard. Everyone in the hall was stunned. Robert, Kevin and Samantha looked completely speechless, just staring as if they couldn’t believe what they were seeing.
The dinner tonight was meant to thank Anthony. He was supposed to be the guest.
No one expected him to show up with so many gifts that it looked like he was moving in for good.
Everyone was confused. Was this just how billionaires acted?
“Robert, it’s been too long. I hope you’ve been well.” Anthony adjusted his suit then stepped forward and bowed politely, hangs extended in greeting. “Sorry for dropping in like this.”
His words snapped everyone out of their daze, and the older guests finally managed to collect themselves.
Kenneth didn’t move. He just watched Anthony putting on his most respectful act, a knowing smile on his face. “He really can fake it when he wants to.”
He’d never seen Anthony lower his head for anyone except Lottie.
“Anthony, hello.” Even Robert, who’d met all kinds of people in his life, was thrown
for a second by how calm and courteous Anthony was.

Maybe the rumors were all wrong.
“You’re always welcome here,” Robert said, breaking into a smile. “Anthony, thank
you for looking after Lottie all this time.”
Anthony smiled, his eyes moving slowly around the hall, taking everything in.
