“Your Majesty,” Gale pleaded, “For nineteen years, Percival and I have lived as estranged spouses. He has shown utter neglect toward me and our son. I humbly beg Your Majesty to grant us an official dissolution of marriage p>
Ferris also bowed beside his mother, silently echoing her plea.
Arthur, visibly surprised, said, “Mrs. Mcgee, are you certain about this? If you divorce, you will lose your title p>
He was puzzled. After all, Gale would have been reduced to a mere commoner after losing her status.
Without Percival’s support or family backing, Arthur wondered how Gale would survive on her own.

He thought to himself, ‘I’ve wanted to divorce Gale for years, but she always refused.
