“Have you done farm work before, King?” Walter asked.
I wiped my mouth with the napkin and pushed to my feet. “No, but I’m a fast learner p>
There was a moment of silence before Catherine broke it, smirking more than usual.
“Yes, he is, and he’s offering to help so… let him p>
“Catherine, you can’t have your boss working at the farm; that doesn’t seem right,” Margaret said.

The weather was hot.
I had taken off my coat and suit, in the middle of rolling my sleeves, when I saw Catherine coming, wearing denim shorts and a shirt, her hair in a high ponytail.
“What?” She asked when I couldn’t stop staring.
I tilted my head as I eyed her milky thighs. I could already picture them wrapped around my waist.
Catherine pushed the clothes she held to me. “I don’t think it’s wise to wear a million-dollar shirt, pants, Rolex, and shoes worth a fortune carrying hay and scooping cow poop p>
“You’re oddly amused by this,” I remarked.
“Am I?” She tilted her head with a thinking face. “Nah, I don’t think so… I’m just looking forward to seeing if the almighty Ares King can do everything p>
“Maybe I’ll surprise you p>
Catherine rolled her eyes, walking past me to the barn, and I followed her.
“You can change here, so p>
I was already taking off my shirt.
“Ares p>
I tossed the material aside and undid the buckles of my pants. Catherine just stood there like a deer in headlights as I stripped and put on the jeans.
“It fits I said zipping up.
Her cheeks tinted red. “Yeah, um… You wear the same size as my Gramps. I-I just had to search through his older clothes p>
“I noticed I said coming close.
Walter was big for his age, so it wasn’t that hard to tell.
“Put on a shirt Catherine said through clenched teeth, doing her best to maintain eye contact, but it was a difficult task as she kept looking back and forth between my chest and me.
I could feel she wanted to feel them with her hand as desperation clawed at her, hands flexing at her sides.
She wants to touch me.
Although that thought came with discord, I couldn’t help picturing her hands feeling my skin. I liked how she plays with my hair whenever she kisses me, and I could only imagine the softness tracing my flesh.
But I can’t break that rule… again.
“I think I can get more work done without wearing them,” I teased.
Catherine’s gaze shot back to my face, and a frown twisted. She snatched the shirt from me, and hoisted to her tiptoes to drag the neckline down my head.
I eyed her amusedly as she dressed me, rolling the hem down to cover my abs. The ghostly feel of her finger brushing against my abdomen made my muscles tense.
Catherine felt it, and I could tell she wanted to do it again, but decided not to, choosing to mess up my hair with her hand and the strands dropped to my forehead.
“There, you look like your typical farm boy and not worth billions p>
“You’re enjoying this, aren’t you, baby p>
She smirked, walking to a heap of hay, swaying that ass for me.
I’m buying her more denim shorts.
“Catch p>
She tossed a bale of hay to me, and I caught it.
“Phew! That took a lot outta me. I’ve been out of shape,” she rasped. “Let’s get to work. Think you can keep up p>
“I should say the same for you p>
“I’ve been doing this since I was a teenager; the slacker here is gonna be you, Mr. King p>
“We’ll see… Ms. Lane p>
We loaded the hay at the back of the pickup truck; it took close to an hour, and it wasn’t that far from a normal workup out session.
Catherine was surprisingly steady with this and pulled her weight, matching my pace. I gathered this was not new for her, but seeing her not filing documents or typing on her computer was extremely… different.
This side of her that doesn’t involve being professional.
Catherine adjusted her glasses, opened the car door, and got in. “Come on, we don’t have all day p>
I took off my gloves and pocketed them, getting in the passenger side.
Catherine turned the key, but the engine didn’t start.
“Come on, come on she murmured, trying again, and when it picked up, she exclaimed triumphantly.
I couldn’t help it as a smile touched my lips. Cute.
“What?” she said, driving out. “The damn thing is always shy, but she’s not today p>

“Do you not humanize your cars? It helps to get them working p>
“I don’t speak to them. I fix p>

We spent the rest of the day feeding the cows until noon, the skies dimmed a bit, and the sun wasn’t as hot.
“Here Catherine handed me a flask of water. “Not your brand, but I assure you it’s the freshest you have ever had p>
I took it, and her eyes dipped to my shirt glued to my body like a second skin because of the sweat. Hers were too, and her bra became visible.
“You’re wearing a bra p>
“You can’t expect me to walk around with my tits out, do you?” She leaned against the truck.
I dropped the flask on the roof and caged her right there. “The sight would have been worth it p>
“I’m not giving you a show p>
I pushed my knee between her legs, and she gasped.
“Ares She tilted her chin to hold my gaze, doing her best to ignore my knee pressing into her core.
“You look thirsty, baby,” I said, taking the flask to drink and locking my lips with hers.
Catherine moaned as our tongues rolled, but the next second her hands gripped my shoulder and pushed me back. Her chest pitched heavily as did mine, before she swooped in for another, but this time we were in a race.
I lost track of everything, allured by the hot, swift motion of her lips, not until I felt her hand slipping beneath my shirt.
I snatched her wrist and slammed it against the glass.
“Ares, please she begged, hoisting herself to her tiptoe to take my lips again, deeper this time, her fingers threading through my hair.
I caved.
