“Serena, you can do this. Breathe through the contractions, just push a little harder,” Celine encouraged, her grip firm around Serena’s trembling hand.
The days had slipped by like grains of sand, and at long last, the moment had arrived for Serena to bring her child into the world.
In her past, the thought of this day had filled her with dread. She had envisioned herself alone, struggling in silence, her children deprived of a father’s love, and her heart heavy with the weight of solitude.

Though her family had offered numerous suggestions, the choice ultimately lay with Serena. She wiped the corners of her eyes, straightening her back as Celine supported her.
“I want to name my son in honor of our ‘S’ legacy,” she laughed softly. “I’ll call him Sebastian p>
Her gaze shifted to the baby girl nestled in her arms. Joy enveloped her, but a bittersweet pang struck her heart as she remembered Alice. “And for my princess, I’ll name her Alisa p>
“After your friend,” Celine noted, a hint of understanding in her voice.
Nearly three months had passed since Serena had tried to reach out to the Hartleys, yet they remained elusive, like shadows fading into the distance. Alice’s family had departed Velmon City for good, and Serena’s heart ached with the regret of not having contacted them sooner.
