On the way back to their neighborhood, three security personnel accompanied her. Milo was behind the wheel. He noticed her uneasiness and asked, “Everything okay, Miss p>
“I’m fine,” Serena answered, though inside, her thoughts were racing.
She wanted to get back at Nathaniel for teasing her at such a crucial moment.
By this time, he was probably in his study, working. So when she arrived at his mansion, she went straight to his office.

When she walked in, Nathaniel was seated on the sofa.
He wasn’t working.
He was waiting and smirking.
He wore a white shirt, the top three buttons undone. The fabric clung slightly to his chest, still damp. It looked like he had taken another shower, knowing she was coming.

He was barefoot.
