Lemira’s interest was piqued instantly.
They stealthily hid behind, watching as Alaric and his team went on their monster hunt.
After all, taking down the big Boss was no easy feat; it required the team’s coordination, and by the end, they were usually hanging on by a thread.
Typically, with a team as renowned as theirs, nobody dared to snatch the Boss from them. But there were exceptions.
Lemira had strategized for it before; she knew exactly when to strike. She and Orion worked seamlessly together, swooping in at the last moment to deliver the final blow. They successfully snatched the Boss away from Alaric and his team.

However, it wasn’t long before Alaric’s screen turned grayscale, followed by the rest of his team meeting their demise on the ground.
Alaric had a nagging feeling about SweetLemon; whose gameplay reminded him a lot of Lemira.
Could it be her, using a new account to snipe their Boss? No, Lemira couldn’t be that skilled yet.

Orion, looking slightly awkward, added coldly on purpose, “Besides, it came free with the order p>
Lemira took the small cake, her very own cake. She took a bite, her eyes downcast, her heart tumultuous.
Orion observed her bowed head and silence, his Adam’s apple bobbing, “Is the cake not good?” How’s that possible? It’s supposed to be a crowd favorite. Lemira nodded, “It’s delicious. It’s been a long time since someone bought me a cake p>
Ever since her parents passed away, she stopped celebrating her birthdays. Her brothers never remembered she liked cake; there was never a slice for her. Orion’s gaze landed on her, “You don’t celebrate your birthday with cake p>
Lemira was silent before sharing, “My parents died in a car accident on my birthday. So since then, I’ve stopped celebrating p>
That day turned into a day of mourning. The atmosphere at home was always heavy on that day.
She never felt entitled to celebrate her own birthday.
Orion felt a sting in his chest, struggling to breathe. He turned away, his lips pressed thin, his face a mix of anger and guilt, his hands clenched, the vein bulging. Lemira sensed the mood shift, and pretended to be casual as she looked up, “Honestly, I don’t mind if I celebrate my birthday or not. I’m not in the mood anyway.” How could she celebrate on the day she lost her parents? It was her parents’ deathday, after all.
