Lemira raised an eyebrow, her gaze bold and piercing.
“I remember very clearly,” she uttered. And she would never forget.
With that, Lemira shut the door, not wanting to say another word.
Lucian stood outside, looking down at the necklace in his hands, thinking about what he had just said. Instantly, he regretted it.
But Lemira’s words had also been deliberately provoking.
