Hearing this, Lemira couldn’t help but beam as she hailed a cab to the gaming event.
Upon her arrival, the venue was swarmed with traffic, fans seemingly more abundant than at the playoff.
She spotted the banners of various teams, including posters of the captains. Her eyes landed on a poster of Matthew, captain of the Reapers. In her past life, during the finals, he suddenly withdrew, robbing her of the chance to face him. Deep down, Lemira felt a tinge of regret. She believed that if he hadn’t withdrawn, SkyBlaze wouldn’t have stood a chance at winning the championship.
