Lemira looked over and saw that Sophia was now sobbing, all traces of her arrogant demeanor from the coffee shop gone.

Sophia had lost all her usual composure, her voice becoming shrill.
Orion’s expression was tense. “Sophia, I’m the one who pursued her p>
At that moment, Sophia looked as if she’d been strangled, unable to utter a single word.

But what did Lemira have that she didn’t?
Seeing Sophia’s devastated state, Lemira suddenly recalled the scene at the coffee shop. Perhaps she had looked just as pathetic as Sophia did now.

Lemira glanced at the shattered glass on the floor, an inexplicable heat rising to her cheeks. She turned and hurried out of the room.
Sophia watched them, her voice hoarse. “Orion, did you have to humiliate me in front of everyone p>
“I seem to recall telling you to clear up the engagement rumors yourself. If it had been anyone else, do you think they’d still be standing here talking to me p>
Orion’s expression was grim, offering no room for compromise.

She started walking toward the door with the others. As she passed Orion, her heart started beating erratically.
Lemira pretended not to see him, but she could feel his eyes following her every move.
At the entrance, everyone started pairing up and getting into cars.
Timothy came up to her. “Come on, let’s get in p>
Lemira nodded and got into the back of a taxi with Oanice. Timothy sat in the front passenger seat and glanced back at the man standing at the door. t
But the man’s gaze was fixed on Lemira; he didn’t even spare Timothy a glance, completely ignoring him.
Timothy felt a prickle of annoyance and deliberately turned to talk to Lemira.
Lemira answered absent-mindedly, but as the car pulled away, she couldn’t resist looking out the window.
She saw Orion looking down at his phone, and in her peripheral vision, she caught sight of Sophia, red-eyed, chasing after him.
Lemira quickly tore her gaze away, nervously pulling out her own phone to distract herself.
A message from Orion popped up.
Seeing his words, her mind was thrown into turmoil.
