Though Erica was already over forty, she looked young and still had her feminine charm. She was wearing a purple dress, which made her look noble and elegant. But her expression was full of anger.
Rupert had not come home the previous night. Cathy had made breakfast early in the morning and taken it to him, but she ended up returning home with red eyes.
Cathy told Erica that she went to deliver breakfast to Rupert, but Annabel had pushed her to the floor. The breakfast had also been spilled all over the ground. According to her, Annabel had made a lot of unpleasant remarks.
