She stopped by the door and looked around. No one was in the café.

Disappointed, Bella turned to look elsewhere, when she noticed a man and a woman sitting in the corner of the café.
She recognized the man, even though she could only see their side profiles from where she stood. He was Rory, the man she had admired for a long time.
And the woman looked familiar.
Bella was taken aback when she realized it was Annabel.
Bella frowned. If her memory served her right, Annabel was Rupert’s fiancée. Meanwhile, Heather was fond of Rupert.
The last time at Brock’s birthday party, Heather had framed Annabel for stealing her diamond ring, not only to embarrass her in public but also to drive her away from Rupert. However, Annabel had quickly resolved the issue.
