Lemira pulled out her phone, showing a photo, a screenshot from a surveillance video capturing Evelina drugging her.
Seeing the photo, Evelina went cold with fear, realizing Lemira did have evidence! Stammering, Evelina asked, “Why didn’t you show this to my brother, but instead confront me? What do you want p>
“Because my demands have changed. Steal the data from Asher, I want Maple Group to triumph p>
Lemira stared down at Evelina, “Now, you have a choice. Do as I say, or I release this evidence.” “Please, don’t release it. I’ll do as you say p>
Evelina was truly frightened of Lemira, the madwoman! She had no choice but to temporarily agree.
Lemira slowly stood up, “I’ll be waiting for you, for the data p>
Without another glance back, Lemira left the rooftop. Her lips curved in a cold sneer; she deleted the photo from her phone – it was just a photoshopped image.
