Lemira was out of patience.
Lucian felt saddened; he knew it was Lemira who had struck him.
Hogan quickly tried to mediate, “Boss, Mrs. Caspian Langston’s people are guarding outside. You should let Ms. Lemira go back herself. Forcing her to stay will only backfire.” There’s no forcing kindness.

Lemira reluctantly agreed.
