Orion, carrying a bag, walked inside, but Thaddeus still followed him, “So cold, man. I think I’ll stick around a bit longer p>
Thaddeus shamelessly stepped into the elevator, sneaking a peek at the bag, “Got some body warmers, huh? She’s dealing with her menstrual period?” Orion simply responded, “Yeah p>
“I would never have believed it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes. Orion buying feminine products and even getting ginger tea. That’s so considerate.” Orion had never been this thoughtful and gentle towards girls before. It was always the girls who were throwing themselves to Orion.
“Just be easy later, don’t want to scare her p>
After giving his instructions, Orion returned to the apartment, knocking on the bathroom door, “Got the stuff p>
Lemira, hearing his voice, slowly approached, her cheeks flushing with warmth. She opened the door slightly, reaching out with her slender hand.
Orion handed over the bag, and she felt its weight, surprised by the amount he’d bought.
Lemira closed the door, smiling uncontrollably as she saw the variety of sanitary pads. He probably didn’t know which brand she preferred, so he bought them all. After changing, Lemira stepped out to find a young man she didn’t recognize sitting on the couch. She felt a bit awkward.
Thaddeus waved, “Hey girl, I’m Orion’s buddy, Thaddeus p>
“So, it’s you p>
Lemira knew she was living in what was supposed to be the place of Orion’s friend.
And the time Orion had cleared out the restaurant for her, making Lucian and Evelina leave, was also thanks to his friend.
“Did Orion mention me? Bet he talked trash about me p>
“No, I’m just staying in your room for a bit. Wanted to say thanks p>
Thaddeus smiled, “Make yourself at home. I have plenty of space and hardly ever come by p>
At that moment, Orion came out of the kitchen with a cup of hot water, handing it to Lemira.
She was surprised at it, thinking how thoughtful he was.
Holding the warm cup, she said, “Thanks p>
Orion’s expression remained neutral, “Drink up and get back for some rest p>
Lemira nodded obediently, sipping water slowly, feeling much better. She looked down, realizing it had been years since anyone had taken such care of her.
She stole a glance at Orion, but figured his kindness was probably out of pity. She was the one who had the audacity to stay in the infirmary to finish her homework. en
Remembering Orion dining with a beautiful woman at that restaurant, she assumed he must have many girls interested in him. Given the fact that he was older than her and had such charming looks, it was inevitable.
Quickly averting her gaze, Lemira packed her bag and returned to the neighboring room.
After Lemira left, Thaddeus teased, “Orion, don’t you think you’re being a bit too nice to her p>
“You talk too much p>
“Just looking out for you, man. Don’t you think you’re underestimating your own charm? You’ve been nice to her, what if she falls for you?” Thaddeus had noticed the way Lemira looked at Orion; it’s easy to guess a young girl’s feelings.
Orion, sitting on the couch, replied, “She’s got someone she likes p>

Thaddeus clicked his tongue, “If that’s the case, it’s suspicious. Might be you p>
Orion’s lips tightened, “Stop talking nonsense p>
“I’m just saying, don’t get tangled up with her without resolving your own issues first. There are many ways to help her, but maybe you’re being a little too nice p>
