Evelina must have played that audio clip from SweetLemon a thousand times. She was almost certain it was Lemira behind the voice! But in the live stream, only hands and a keyboard were revealed, making it impossible to confirm the identity of the person streaming! Evelina felt a surge of panic. Had Alaric not recognized Lemira’s voice?

Alaric had finished eating and stepped out of his office to find Evelina alone in the hallway.
Evelina’s expression was a mix of emotions, “Alaric, I was just watching the SweetLemon video. Did you finish watching it p>
After all, the streamer spoke towards the end of the video.
Alaric shook his head, “Didn’t finish it, but I know enough about her to be sure she’ll advance tomorrow. We need to sign her p>
“Alaric, have you looked into her? Like, what’s her real name, what does she look like p>
“Couldn’t find out. She’s been dodging my contract offers. I thought she had her reasons. Seems like she’s just trying to bump up her value by streaming on PixelStage.” Alaric was confident that money would make her sign the contract eventually.
Seeing Alaric so sure of himself made Evelina second-guess her own suspicions. If SweetLemon really was Lemira, she wouldn’t have let Evelina walk all over her previously. Perhaps it’s just a similar voice. After all, there are people looking alike out there. Evelina breathed a sigh of relief. She knew it couldn’t have been Lemira.
The next day, Lemira woke up without an alarm, checking her phone to find a few messages.

Lemira glanced at the message but didn’t reply. She had to prepare for her live show tonight. She was busy.
Heading to the next room, she found Orion on the balcony, speaking over the phone.

Lemira was confident in her abilities. Her gaze drifted involuntarily towards the balcony, where he stood, his hand on the railing, his figure tall and imposing.
Orion seemed to sense something and looked back, locking eyes with her. The man’s gaze inscrutable, he muttered a few words into the phone before hanging up. Lemira quickly looked away, though she caught him returning to the living room out of the corner of her eye.
